Who we are and what these terms cover

Cat Dancing GIF (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates catdancinggif.com: a free library of original dancing cat GIFs, together with an AI tool that turns a photo of your own cat into a short dancing video and GIF. Payments, credits and checkout are handled with our payment provider Waffo.

By using the site, the generator or the checkout you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the service.

Who can use the service

You may browse and download the free GIF library at any age. To create an account and use the AI generator you must be at least 13 years old. To buy credits you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on your behalf.

You sign in with an email address and a one-time code, so keep access to that mailbox secure: activity carried out through your account is treated as yours. Do not create accounts in bulk, share an account, or access the service through automated scripts.

Free library and permitted use

You may download and share the GIFs from our library for personal, non-commercial use and for social posts, with attribution where practical. You may not resell or redistribute the library as a product, mirror or scrape the site, or present our originals as your own work.

GIFs you generate from your own photo are yours to use, subject to the content rules below and to any rights that apply to the source photo.

Prohibited content: what you may never upload, request or generate

Cat Dancing GIF is a family-friendly, pet-only creative tool. The generator accepts photos of cats; it is not a general-purpose image or video service. The following content is strictly prohibited, whether it appears in the photo you upload, in your instructions, in the generated result, or in anything you do with the output:

• Sexual or pornographic content of any kind, including nudity, sexually suggestive posing, fetish content, and the sexualisation of animals or characters.
• Any sexual content involving minors, and any content that sexualises, endangers or exploits a child. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM): such content is removed immediately, the account is permanently banned, and the material is reported to the relevant authorities and child-protection organisations.
• Content that places minors in unsafe, violent, abusive or otherwise harmful situations, or that could be used to identify or contact a child.
• Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, animal cruelty, or content that encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, gender or sexual orientation.
• Deepfakes, impersonation or misleading synthetic media of real people, including celebrities, politicians, public figures and private individuals, created without their documented consent, or content designed to suggest that a real person said or did something they did not.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, personality rights or other intellectual property, for example photos you do not own or have no permission to use.
• Privacy violations: uploading someone else’s photo, publishing personal data such as addresses, phone numbers or identity documents, doxxing, or tracking individuals.
• Illegal goods and services, fraud, scams, phishing, malware, spam, or attempts to manipulate search or platform rankings.
• Political propaganda, election manipulation, or any content that breaks the law of your country or of the country where the service is offered.

The following technical misuse is also prohibited: bypassing or manipulating the credit system, attacking or probing our infrastructure, using the generator to build a competing dataset or model, or extracting content at scale by automated means.

Your uploads, permissions and licence

Only upload a photo you took yourself or have explicit permission to use. By uploading, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and that the photo does not violate anyone’s privacy or intellectual property.

You keep ownership of your photo. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, transmit and process it for the sole purpose of producing and delivering your result and keeping the generation record in your account. We do not use your uploads to train AI models, and we do not sell them or use them in advertising.

You can delete a generation and its source photo from your account at any time, or ask us to delete them for you.

How AI generation works

Generations are produced by the MiniMax Hailuo 02 image-to-video model, developed and operated by MiniMax and accessed through our AI infrastructure provider fal.ai. Your photo and the motion instructions are sent to that model to render a short clip, which we then convert into a GIF.

Results are probabilistic. Two runs on the same photo can look different, and we cannot guarantee a particular likeness, dance style, framing or quality. The generator is a creative toy, not a professional animation studio.

Credits, prices and payment

One credit is consumed per AI generation. The price of every pack, the number of credits it contains and the resulting price per GIF are published on our pricing page before you pay, and the same total is shown again on the Waffo checkout page.

Prices are in US dollars. Any applicable sales tax, VAT or currency conversion is displayed at checkout. Credits are a prepaid usage balance: they never expire, they do not renew automatically, they carry no cash value, and they cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged.

Payments are processed by Waffo as merchant of record. We never see or store your full card number. If a generation fails for a technical reason, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.

Refunds and chargebacks

Digital credit packs are generally non-refundable once the credits have been added to your account. We will refund or re-credit you if you were charged twice for the same order, if a verified technical failure prevented delivery, or where the consumer law of your country gives you that right.

Send refund requests to support@catdancinggif.com within 14 days of the charge, quoting your order ID. Credits remaining on an account terminated for a content or terms violation are forfeited and are not refundable. Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank: we can almost always fix the problem faster.

Moderation and enforcement

We review content that is reported to us and we run automated checks on uploads and generations, including keyword and instruction filters and image classification. Flagged generations may be reviewed by a human before or after delivery.

If we find a violation of these terms we may, depending on severity and history:

• remove or block the offending generation and delete the associated files;
• refuse or limit further generations, including a temporary or permanent block on the generator;
• suspend or permanently terminate the account and forfeit any remaining credits;
• block the payment method or email address from creating new accounts;
• report the content and the account to law enforcement, child-protection organisations or the affected rights holder where the law requires or permits it.

Serious violations, in particular any sexual content involving minors, lead to immediate permanent termination without prior notice and without refund. For less serious cases we normally issue a warning first. You can appeal any moderation decision by replying to our notice within 30 days, and we will review the decision once more.

Reporting illegal or infringing content

If you see content on Cat Dancing GIF that breaks these terms, or you believe your copyright or privacy has been infringed, email support@catdancinggif.com with the subject line “Content report”. Include the page URL or generation ID, a short description of the problem, and, for rights complaints, evidence that you own the material.

We acknowledge reports within 2 business days, assess them against these terms, and aim to resolve them within 7 business days. Knowingly false or abusive reports are themselves a violation of these terms. A “Report content” contact link is always available in the site footer.

Our intellectual property

The site design, the original GIF library, the written content and the Cat Dancing GIF name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you beyond the limited licence described above.

Availability and changes to the service

We may add, change, pause or discontinue features, and we may take the service offline for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, or that a particular dance style will remain available forever.

When a change materially affects your credits or the generations stored in your account, we tell you in advance on this page or by email.

Term and termination: what happens if you break these terms

These terms apply for as long as you hold an account or use the service. They end when you close your account or when we terminate it, except for the provisions that survive termination (see below).

This section explains how we restrict or end access. It works together with section 9 (Moderation and enforcement), which covers how content is reviewed, and with our Acceptable Use Policy, which lists what you may never upload, request or generate.

• Warning — for a first or minor breach we normally send a written warning and ask you to remove or correct the content.
• Content removal — we delete or block the offending generation, the uploaded photo and any shared copies, and withdraw them from public pages.
• Feature restriction — we may disable the generator, cap your daily generations, or hold your results for manual review before delivery.
• Credit forfeiture — we cancel credits obtained through the breach, or bought for the purpose of generating prohibited content. Credits you bought in good faith stay yours unless the whole account is terminated for a serious breach.
• Account suspension or termination — we may freeze your account temporarily or terminate it permanently, which ends your access to the service and to the generations stored in it.
• Sign-up and payment block — we may block the payment method, email address or device from opening new accounts.
• Referral to authorities — where the law requires or permits it, we report the content and the account to law enforcement, child-protection organisations or the affected rights holder.

Except in the cases below, we tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond before we restrict or terminate an account. Where the content is clearly illegal, where a child is at risk, or where telling you would let you destroy evidence, we act immediately and explain afterwards.

If we terminate your account for a serious breach, unused credits are forfeited and not refunded. If we end the service, or close your account for our own reasons, we refund the unused credits you paid for.

You may close your account at any time by writing to support@catdancinggif.com. We then delete your profile and generated files within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. The sections on intellectual property, liability, governing law and changes to these terms survive termination.

Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence always apply.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which our operating entity is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to support@catdancinggif.com so that we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for changes affecting payments or content rules, notify signed-in users by email. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new version.
