What this policy covers

This policy applies to every part of the service: the photo you upload, the dance style or prompt you choose, the video and GIF we generate, the caption and link you add when you share a result, and any message you send us.

It applies to every user, whether you use the free library or buy credits, and whether you are generating for yourself or for someone else.

Prohibited content: what you may never upload, request or generate

You must not upload, request, generate, store or share any of the following. The list is not exhaustive.

• Sexual or pornographic content, including nudity, sexual acts, fetish content and sexualised depictions of any kind.
• Any sexual or sexualised depiction of a minor. This is zero tolerance: it leads to immediate permanent termination, a report to the relevant authorities and, where required, preservation of the evidence.
• Depictions of minors in unsafe, dangerous, violent or degrading situations, or any content that sexualises or exploits a child.
• Graphic violence, gore, torture, mutilation, cruelty to animals, or content that glorifies self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
• Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content that dehumanises or incites violence against a person or group because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• Deepfakes, face swaps, voice clones, or any realistic depiction of a real, identifiable person — including celebrities, politicians and private individuals — made without their documented consent, or made to mislead, defame or impersonate.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, likeness, privacy or any other right that you do not own and have no permission to use.
• Content that reveals another person's private information without consent: home addresses, phone numbers, identity documents, medical records, financial details, or images taken in private places.
• Content that promotes or facilitates illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, money laundering, drugs, weapons or sexual services.
• Political propaganda, election manipulation, or content designed to deceive people about who made it or whether it is real.

Technical misuse is prohibited too: bypassing our filters with obfuscated prompts, encoding tricks, adversarial images or repeated retries, and using the service to build a dataset of generated content for training a competing model.

How we review content

Uploads and prompts are screened before generation by automated checks, including keyword and instruction filters and image classification. Results are checked again before delivery, and anything flagged is held back.

Flagged content is reviewed by a human moderator. We also review what users report to us, and we sample delivered generations to check that our filters still work.

If a check cannot be completed, we withhold the result rather than release it. A withheld generation does not consume your credit.

What happens if you break this policy

Depending on the severity of the breach and your history, we may:

• remove or block the offending generation and delete the associated files;
• refuse the request and return the credit;
• limit or disable your access to the generator, or hold results for manual review before delivery;
• cancel credits obtained through the breach, or bought for the purpose of generating prohibited content;
• suspend or permanently terminate your account;
• block the payment method, email address or device from opening new accounts;
• report the content and the account to law enforcement, child-protection organisations or the affected rights holder.

We normally tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond before restricting an account. For clearly illegal content, or where a child is at risk, we act immediately and explain afterwards. Section 13 of our Terms of Service sets out the full termination, refund and appeal rules.

How to report content

If you see content on Cat Dancing GIF that breaks this policy, email support@catdancinggif.com with the subject line “Content report”. Include the page URL or generation ID, a short description of the problem, and, for rights complaints, evidence that you own the material.

We acknowledge reports within 2 business days, assess them against this policy, and aim to resolve them within 7 business days. A “Report content” link is always available in the site footer.

Appeals and questions

If we removed your content or restricted your account and you believe we got it wrong, reply to our notice within 30 days. A second reviewer looks at the decision again and we tell you the outcome in writing.
