Cat Dancing GIF license and usage terms

Free to use with credit

Every GIF in our library is free to download and use for personal projects, social posts, chat stickers, stream overlays, presentations, and classroom or community material.

Attribution is not required for private use, but it is required for public and commercial use: credit “Cat Dancing GIF” and, where the platform allows it, link back to the page you downloaded the GIF from.

How to credit us

A visible credit such as “GIF by Cat Dancing GIF” next to the GIF, in the post caption, or in the video description is enough. If you use several of our GIFs, one credit covering the set is fine.

Our image metadata uses the same credit line, so the attribution you see on this page matches what search engines and other tools report.

What this license does not allow

The license covers use of the finished GIFs. It does not transfer ownership of the artwork, and it does not allow you to resell the library itself.

• Reselling, sublicensing or redistributing the library, in whole or in part, as a stock collection, asset pack or template pack.
• Mirroring, scraping or bulk-downloading the site, or re-hosting the files to serve your own traffic.
• Claiming authorship of our originals, or registering them as a trademark or copyright.
• Using the GIFs in a way that suggests we endorse your product, or in content that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.

Commercial use and written licenses

Broadcast, paid advertising, merchandise, print and in-app use are allowed under the same free license as long as you credit us. There is no fee for the standard license described on this page.

If you need a signed license, an invoice, or an extended license without attribution, write to us and we will issue one — usually within two business days.

GIFs you create with the AI maker

Clips and GIFs you generate from your own photo are yours. You keep whatever rights you have in the source photo, and you are responsible for having the right to upload it.

We do not claim ownership of your generated results. We store them only to deliver the download and to keep the service running, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Copyright questions and takedowns

All library GIFs are produced in-house. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, email us with the URL and the details and we will review it within two business days.
